After 45 years of painting, she is the most "mediocre" painter, with awards, art exhibitions and ordinary amazing countless students

▲ The first thing that touches people is the atmosphere of painting together

Like to draw I really like to draw

Won't give up because of any ups and downs

Because it really can See the most beautiful scenery from the painting

Maybe many people are really busy and have no time

The existence of the artist is to grasp this moment

Grandma painter from Canada

65 years old Shari Blaukopf

Sally Braukopf

Shari's paintings are especially simple

So simple that anyone who has studied watercolor painting can draw one

Can It took her 45 years to accumulate from sketch to watercolor

What kind of work deserves to go into so long

In fact, it's more about Shari's persistence in art

Shari started taking interest classes at a very young age

In the eyes of parents, children's inner needs are the most important

Although Shari doesn't show amazing talent

But in her interest class

She is the most serious in her study

In Shari's memories

It was her first formal education in painting

There are no cool tricks to speak of

A love of painting; Always fall on solid theoretical basic skills

Later Shari was also admitted to the art school as he wished

In a family that eats economy

Being an artist is naturally not Shari's first choice

To make ends meet, Shari began to choose a major in design

This is also true

It's really useless to learn things that don't earn money

The painting is so average that no one really cares about it

In Shari's memory

Out of love for painting

In addition to the study of professional courses

She took part in the painter's studio at the age of 20

There's a teacher (Ed Whitney) demonstrating creation

Shari bluntly said that this short activity is more rewarding than a year's college life

And the 88-year-old teacher changed her life

The teacher has a good understanding of painting

In his creative career

Sketch, sketch, watercolor, oil painting and so on

As a creative tool that he enjoys very much

"Express rather than report"

The teacher's words made her remember all her life

▲ Outdoor sketching is reported

What my teacher taught me was very simple

Not just recording, but "expressing what you see"

After graduation

Ed Whitney also Gave Shari two sketchbooks

It is full of drafts and inspiration words from the creation

Such Creative habits have also kept Shari alive for 45 years

I will take it out and study again during the break

△ Shari is now a teacher-artist, often taking students out to sketch outdoors, regardless of age or gender

Drawing is not so mysterious

Shari From a designer to a painter in 45 years

You may not imagine She kept more than 100 sketchbooks

Create countless

Place it in a special bookcase in the studio

Even when moving this is Wealth that must be brought

▲ Mr. Edgar is giving a demonstration. On the right is Shari , wearing a Mickey Mouse sweatshirt, is taking notes in a sketchbook that has been with me for decades.

I have a bookshelf in my studio with over 30 travel sketchbooks on it. Every time I flip through them, memories of a certain place come to mind-not just those views. The sounds, the smells, the tastes-it all still comes to my mind. This is what I love most about travel sketches. Painting on paper with pencil and paint not only enriches the entire experience, but also makes it last forever.

Shari has a deep understanding of watercolor research

Picture capture smudge by wet painting method

She doesn't need to be too detailed

Simple and quickly formed brushstrokes

Seemingly inadvertent

But it expresses the atmosphere and texture of the picture very well

Plus some detail and outline

All make the audience look very comfortable

Shari's handling of color, light, shadow and detail

Creates a variety of different atmospheres

Whether it's a quiet snowy scene or a lively port

Or a garden full of life

Can make the viewer immerse in the scene

Feel the emotion and artistic conception conveyed by the picture
